File Three Of:
Hebron's Heritage
A City Chosen By GOD
"The secret things belong unto the LORD our GOD: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law."
Deuteronomy 29:29
Those not appointed to care for GOD'S Holy Things were warned not to touch nor even look upon them. For example: the Kohathites who carried the Holy Things were not even allowed to look upon them until they were covered.
"But they (the Kohathites) shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die."
Numbers 4:20
Uzzah's Death – An Example To Others
When Uzzah, who was not appointed to do so, put forth his hand and touched the Ark of GOD, the LORD was wrathful with him and "smote him for his error; and there he died by the Ark of GOD" (II Samuel 6:6-7).
In the days when Israel first arrived at Mount Sinai the LORD warned:
"And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
"There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount."
Exodus 19:12-13
Beware Of False Or Blind Shepherds
Until GOD establishes His Human Shepherd of the Gathering of Jacob, there is but one Shepherd, the Word of GOD, symbolized by righteousness and by Jesus Christ (Revelation 19:12-13; John 1:1-10). The Human Shepherd, of course, like Moses will more clearly understand the Word of GOD sent forth through the Holy Prophets (Isaiah 49:5-6; Psalm 119:79,98-100; Ezekiel 34:23). For the Shepherd seeks to obey GOD'S Commandments, Statutes, and Judgments (Psalm 119).
Meanwhile, there are a multitude of shepherds of all religions and faiths that we must beware of (Ezekiel 34:1-10; Jeremiah 25:34-38). For example, many falsely tell us that the Law and the Testimony of GOD are antiquated and have been done away with; whereas, Jesus Himself says that not one jot nor one tittle shall pass from the Law until all be fulfilled and anyone who teaches to the contrary shall be damned (Matthew 5:17-19; Psalm 78:56-64; 119:126). Many falsely teach that the Scriptures, the Words of GOD through His Holy Prophets, have been destroyed; whereas, "None can change His words" (Sura 18:27; Psalm 119:152,160). Thus, although translated into many tongues with their respective colloquialisms, the true sense of the Word of GOD remains unchanged for those who seek truth and understanding through obedience and righteousness. In this sense neither the Jews nor anyone else can "Kill" Jesus Christ, the Word of GOD, "None can change His words."
Everyone must beware of the "experts" who have written or preached contrary to the Word of GOD for these people are calling GOD Almighty (Allah) a liar (Jeremiah 23:1-2,9-12,25,36; 14:14). So BEWARE of those who make a distinction between the Holy Prophets for "We make no distinction amongst any of them..." (Sura 2:137).
People who call GOD a liar, who make distinctions amongst His Prophets, who reject the Law and the Testimony of GOD, etc. should be shunned. Avoid them! They are amongst the damned. Don't be counted amongst any flock whose shepherd leads them into damnation (Matthew 13:34-35; 15:13-20; Ezekiel 34:1-10).
Remember, false and blind prophets see not the truth. Yet, the Words of GOD, Allah's words, tell all. And the Word of GOD, the Scriptures, given unto the Holy Prophets shall speak unto His GODly Shepherd. And "The advent of the Ark shall be the portent of his reign ... That will be a sign for you, if you are true believers" (Sura 2:248). "Ezekiel" who prefigures the Shepherd has been told "I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel." "Say, I am your sign" (Ezekiel 12:6,11). Thus when the Holy Ark of the Covenant is brought forth (Ezekiel 12:1-12) the Shepherd speaks.
People to whom the signs, the chronology and events, etc. contained within the Word of GOD – people to whom GOD'S Word has been revealed will understand (Deuteronomy 29:29; Matthew 10:26; Daniel 2:20-22,27-28). Meanwhile all people who seek understanding and Salvation best beware of false prophets. That is, for example: those who reject GOD'S Commandments, His Statutes, and His Judgments, His Holy Seventh-day Sabbaths, His New Moons, and His Feasts, etc. (Exodus 20:8-11; 20:3-17; 31:13-17; 34:21-23); those who kill or teach others to kill their fellow man – for today true Israel has been dispersed among all peoples, colors, religious groups, and nations (Exodus 20:13; Genesis 9:5-6); those who falsely presume to be "Israel" and are not (Genesis 48:15-16,20) for when true Israel is gathered the cloud by day and shining of flame of fire by night once again shall return, it's the Holy Presence, the Tranquility from your LORD (Isaiah 4:5; Sura 2:248; II Maccabees 2:7-8). Yes, beware of those who reject GOD'S Laws and His Testimony for "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" (Isaiah 8:20).
Therefore, each individual should search the Words of GOD spoken through His Holy Prophets and verify for themselves whatever they read and hear – not just the Word spoken through the voice of one Prophet but through the voices of all of the Holy Prophets – for the Word of GOD does not contradict itself. GOD'S guidance, warning us not to make a distinction between the Prophets, has been set forth for a reason ... that the obedient be not misguided by the traps and pitfalls established for the disobedient.
Remember, GOD promised those who disobey that He, Himself, would misguide them (Ezekiel 14:3-11, especially 14:7-9; 20:24-26; Sura 43:1-10; 18:53-58; 45:23-27). And, as promised, the disobedient have been misguided down through the ages – yes, even by the Words of GOD. For if the disobedient inquire of the Prophets, "I the LORD will answer him by Myself ... I the LORD have deceived that Prophet", that is, made his words difficult to understand (Ezekiel 14:7-9).
Who is more brilliant than GOD? So let man beware and examine the Word of GOD given through the Holy Prophets – let him examine it with care and in righteousness (obedience). Then as you examine the words through the several Prophets perhaps you may find how beautifully they agree and that the parables, similitudes or symbology, Laws of GOD, etc. how those who make a distinction (select only one or two Prophets) can be terribly misled. Thus, "The fear of GOD (which produces obedience) is the beginning of wisdom."

The left and right pillars of the quarry atop Kob-Al Janib.

Hidden entrance to cave is beside tree
identified by arrow if dreams are correct.

Central cove of quarry. Note sheer cliffs. Tree marking site of hidden entrance is to the right (off the picture) and far above the quarry floor.
Note that the Taurig Benzad School, near Birket Sultan, lies in the shadow of the Spur upon Kob Al-Janib. This brings to mind that the Rock of Gibraltar is also called "The rock of Taurig". It's the pillar at the Eastern gate of the Atlantic, the Eastern entrance to the symbolic "River Jordan" (the Atlantic). And it's as a pillar before the Temple. But most important "... the LORD ... He is the Rock..." (Deuteronomy 32:3-4).
"O that thou were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!"
Deuteronomy 32:29
Drainage hole now filled with sediment is located in the cliff face well below and to the right (North) of the tree.
Scripture describes the hiding place:
"Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
"Take great stones (the Holy Ark of the Covenant) in thine hand, and hide them in the clay in the brickklin, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of the Jews...."
Jeremiah 43:8-9
Note: Tahpanhes — The LORD, being wrathful with disobedient people of Jerusalem, called it "Tahpanhes", the home of the devil — Pharaoh.
The great stones (the Ten Commandments within the Holy Ark) were hidden in the earth (clay) in a brickklin, in an entry to Jerusalem (Hebron), and in the sight of the people of the Jews.

Pathway to steps to the right (North) of the quarry.

More ancient steps to left of wall contine upward a short way.

View from top of ancient steps looking Southward (left) toward the tree.

View from midway between steps and tree. Not visible in photo are signs of ancient building foundation to left of picture.
Scripture describes the rock strewn hill as man enters into it for the purpose of bringing forth the Holy Ark whereupon the Glory of the LORD of hosts speaks to man from the cloud, "the firmament", above the Mercy Seat.
Scripture mentions: the holes in the rocks, the caves, the clefts (cleavages) of the rocks, and the tops of the ragged rocks.
"Enter into the rock ... for the glory of His majesty ... For in the day of the LORD of hosts ... they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth ... for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth."
"... to go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth."
Isaiah 2:10,12,19

Large section of rock between two cleavages in rock face, like a giant "Capstone", is composed of many different rocks cemented together by lime and age.
This is the sealed cave entrance seen in dreams, complete with level area before the rocks and sharp cliff to left (East) of entrance.
Note the small vertical cleavage in rock above Dana's hand. This provides an easy to identify reference in the next photo.

Large cleavage on left side of sealed cave entrance. Note the small vertical cleavage in the rock in center of photo. (This is the reference identified with the previous picture).
"O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs...."
Song Of Solomon 2:14
