Our unusual trip may be described sort of like a man coming back from a remote site with a pocket full of cash. His journey has been long and arduous but he's driven onward as he knows of this beautiful damsel. Yet, when he finally arrives, he can't quite get to be with her. The guards won't let him near. Then when his funds are about gone and he must depart he realizes that his true love really doesn't live there after all and that she's been quietly watching from a little cottage nearby.
His dilemma now is that her father expects a ransom to be paid and conditions must be met. Much appears impossible! So, we're like that guy now sitting under a tree pondering his frustrations -- just hoping for the impossible, that perhaps she'll come to him before he must depart.
Yes, we've found where the Holy Ark rests. The "door" could be opened in maybe an hour or less -- but we're like that guy pondering his frustrations.
Our journey actually began several years ago and culminated with a prolonged trip through England, Germany, Austria, Italy, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Jordan, and then to Hebron where our story now resumes.
George and his son Dana from Cocoa Beach, Florida, USA are not Muslims, nor Christians, nor Jews but they believe in one GOD, the Law and the Testimony, and in Jesus Christ. They study the ancient Prophets and also the Koran as they readily point out that the Koran agrees completely with the earlier Prophets while man's limited understanding of the parables, symbology, the Word of GOD through the Prophets, and the Laws of GOD produce erroneous differences.
For example, they point out that the Koran says that Jesus is not the Son of GOD and that the Scriptures say that He is the Son of GOD -- and that both are correct. How can that be we ask? They answer: The Laws of GOD establish that the betrothed woman is as a wife unto her husband to be -- as in the case of Mary. Thus, when GOD willed that Mary be with child, then under His Law Joseph, to whom Mary was betrothed, automatically became the child's legitimate father. Therefore, under GOD'S Laws, Jesus is the son of Joseph even though Joseph never "knew" Mary until after Jesus was born.
George and Dana then go on to ask, "Why does a teacher speak of his students as 'My Children'?" as they rapidly point out the love relationship between the teacher and students. They now ask, "Does not GOD have the right and ability to call 'His Children' 'sons' and 'daughters'?" Thus GOD speaks of both a love relationship and of the legal relationship as He spoke through His Prophets which include Muhammed.
Remember, when GOD spoke of "Israel" through Moses He said, "Israel is My son, even My firstborn" (Exodus 4:22). Then through Hosea He said, "When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called My son out of Egypt" (Hosea 11:1). And again when speaking through the Prophet Jeremiah He stated, "... I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is My firstborn" (Jeremiah 31:9). Now we all might know that "Ephraim" represents the descendants of Joseph's youngest son, heir to the names and titles "Jacob" and "Israel", "Abraham", "Isaac", and heir to the blessings and to the inheritance (Genesis 48:15-16,20). "Behold, all souls are mine..." (Ezekiel 18:4).
We asked George and Dana why they chose Hebron to visit. They then showed me excerpts from 255 pages of Biblical research on the Chronology of Mankind taken from the Holy Prophets. Therein was a seven day "week", a sabbath of "days" divided into seven equal parts, wherein each "day" represents 1,000 years. In addition they pointed out that the Scriptures identify three "days" from the birth of Jesus Christ wherein the "third" and the "seventh" "days" are one and the same. Also, to each, GOD has added a fourth and an eighth "day" to make four "days" and four "days" for a total of eight where events of the first four thousand years prefigure the second four thousand years.
Now note that one "hour" of a 1,000 year-"day" (i.e. 1/24 X 1,000) equals 41.67 years which in Scripture is rounded off to 40 years and 42 years. This 40 and 42 years is the duration of "The Hour of Doom" spoken of throughout the Koran and "Israel's" 40 years in the wilderness.
But before explaining that these infamous "hours" began in the Spring of 1948 and in the Spring of 1982 they showed me an old report titled, "Ancient Hebron, the City of David" by Professor Philip C. Hammond.
Professor Hammond (1924-2008) was Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Arizona State University and Emeritus Professor of Anthropology at the University of Utah (USA), headed a team of eminent professors who in 1964 began three years of excavations on Jebel er-Rumeide, the mount just West of Hebron's ancient marketplace and immediately North of Kob Al-Janib.
George then pointed out that Professor Hammond's dating if correct, showed that the occupation or habitation of Hebron began about the year 400 From Creation and correctly reflects gaps in the habitation of Mount Rumeide following The Flood and again during both the Egyptian Captivity and later during the Babylonian Captivity. These gaps in habitation agree quite well with the more exact Scriptural chronology and lend much credibility to Professor Hammond's findings.
Therefore, if correct, Hebron's history must have begun in the days of Adam and his sons, then continued through Abraham, David, etc. unto the present.
The Presence Of GOD'S Holy Ark Of The Covenant?
George and Dana then went on to explain that their research of Scripture included the Chronology, the location of the Solomonic Temple which Scripture identifies as being West of the Valley of Hinnom, the Laws of GOD, and related revelations of GOD through the Prophets.
One of their more important findings is that the Holy Ark of the Covenant, containing the second set of Holy Tablets whereupon GOD wrote His Ten Commandments, should be located right here in ancient Hebron. Thus, today there is substantial evidence that GOD chose Hebron to be the sacred habitation for His Holy Ark of the Covenant when it was placed in Hebron by the Prophet Jeremiah about the year 3,500 From Creation. So, His Holy Ark has resided in Hebron from 3500 to 5985 From Creation (1985 AD) which represents 2490 years.
And the Spring of 1985 marks the end of the 5989th year From Creation. So, all these years people have been unaware of the presence here in Hebron of the Holy Ark called "LORD" and "LORD of hosts" by Moses, David, and others (Numbers 10:35-36; II Samuel 6:2; I Chronicles 13:6; Exodus 25:22; Zechariah 2:10-13; Psalm 99:1; Numbers 7:89; Isaiah 37:16; II Kings 19:15; I Samuel 4:4).
The Holy Ark of the Covenant (described in Exodus 25:9-22; 37:1-9) is a rectangular box measuring 2� cubits (35 inches) long, 1� cubits (21 inches) wide, and 1� cubits (21 inches) high. It is made of Shittim wood and overlaid with gold both inside and out and has a gold crown or molding about 4 inches wide around the top of its four sides. Four rings protrude upward through the top, one at each corner. These rings, in addition to supporting the heavy top, hold the top and coverings in place as two long staves or carrying poles were placed through the rings. The Top, of course, is one solid gold casting containing the Mercy Seat in the center and winged Cherubim on the right and on the left as they face the Mercy Seat with their wings touching over the Mercy Seat.
In Ancient times GOD appeared directly to Moses and to other chosen Shepherds from a cloud above the Mercy Seat (Exodus 25:22). This same cloud by day and shining of flame of fire by night represented GOD'S Holy Presence which was continually present when the Holy Ark was with the early Israelites (Exodus 40:38; Numbers 9:15-23) and even before then when Moses first led the Israelites out of Egypt (Exodus 13:20-22; Numbers 14:13-14).
GOD also has promised that the cloud by day and shining of flame of fire by night is to return upon His people when the Holy Ark of the Covenant is again brought forth and later as the gathering of the Congregation of Jacob begins to materialize (Isaiah 4:5; II Maccabees 2:7-8; Zechariah 9:14).
The LORD even spoke of the return of His Holy Ark and the return of His Holy Presence through Muhammed. This shall be a very significant sign to all believers:
"Their prophet also said to them: 'The advent of the Ark shall be the portent of his reign. Therein shall be tranquillity (the Holy Presence) from your LORD, and the relics (the Holy Tables) which the House of Moses and the House of Aaron left behind. It will be borne by the angels (symbolic for the chosen few). That will be a sign for you, if you are true believers.'"

Therefore, "What better place is there to visit than Hebron?"
Factors Leading To And Supporting Findings
We then asked George to explain why he believed the Holy Ark to be here in Hebron to which he responded that there were several independent but related factors which lead to and support our findings:
1. A Geometric Pattern: Allah's precision in creating the world did not stop at the tiny atoms with their nucleus of neutrons and rings of electrons but His precision extends even unto our solar system, the universe, and the galaxies beyond. Then is it not possible that He also ordained that certain treasures such as the Holy Ark of the Covenant, the Solomonic Temple, the Stones of Abel, the True Mount Sinai, and even Noah's great Ark, etc. be hidden in such a logical pattern? Such a geometric pattern does indeed exist and when understood now leads directly to the great rocks high atop Kob Al-Janib -- the place to begin looking.
2. Scripture: In addition to providing a unique baseline and other clues necessary for understanding and applying the geometric pattern; Scripture also provides a description of the resting place as being in Hebron (an entry to Jerusalem), in the clay or earth next to a brickklin, in the sight of the men of the Jews, on a spur on the shoulder of a mountain overlooking a saddle between the shoulders or mountains, etc. Thus, Scripture provides a rather detailed description of the place where GOD chose to place His Holy Ark.
3. A Broken Bone: Yes, strange enough, a broken collar bone where the bone brake was improperly treated and caused to protrude as a "spur" on the shoulder helped explain the Scripture referring to the "spur upon the shoulder of a mountain". This broken bone was acquired about in 1979 and has been a constant reminder of the position of the "spur" wherein the Holy Ark rests.
4. Unusual Dreams: The LORD completed our task of identifying the specific location of the cave entrance through a series of unforgettable dreams in the 1981-1982 period. Thus, He provided vivid mental pictures to identify the exact spot. These pictures began with (a) the place from which the site was first seen; (b) then the approach down across a "saddle" between the mountains and up to a wall or cliff (the quarry wall); (c) then to the right or north of the quarry wall to the old stone steps; and then (d) to the left and upward to the entrance of the hidden cave. All were received as lasting mental pictures. Even to the cliff edge to the left (East) of the cave entrance with sharp drop and the steep slope to the right front (Northwest) of the cave. Dreams did not end with pictures but went on to describe events as our being "tackled" (stopped) at the cave entrance which has happened. Without such dreams the unmarked, sealed cave would be almost impossible to find.
5. Visually Finding The Site: On the sixth day of our arrival in Hebron and searching without even a good map we found the site. But at the time we were perplexed because when reaching the quarry we were told that the only way to the top of the right wall was via the left side thence about the top and down the right side. Neither did we realize the existence of the old brickklin, the location of the Jewish settlement of Qiryat Arba, and the habitations on Jebel er-Rumeide. Also the existence of the steps was unknown except for dreams. However, on the seventh day (2 January 1985) of our visit to Hebron we learned that the site was indeed in the full view of the Jewish settlement at Qiryat Arba and the existence of the brickklin. Upon returning to Kob Al-Janib on 2 January 1985 we were led to the right of the quarry to where the old stone steps led upward. This confirmed our beliefs. Later on 8 January 1985 we received a copy of Professor Hammond's report which confirmed that Kob Al-Janib was also in view of the Jews living on Jebel er-Rumeide in the days when Jeremiah hid the Holy Ark. And, by then, we had realized that the proper threshold cubit to employ in the geometric pattern was the 33-inch cubit which now placed the "capstone" directly atop Kob Al-Janib.
6. Biblical Schedule: The schedule of Darius' years (Daniel 9:1-2; Haggai; Zechariah 1:1-7:1) and the chronology found in Ezekiel both attest that the Holy Ark of the Covenant could be brought forth early in 1985. And as of 2 January 1985 the specific location of the cave entrance was recognized. Thus, by the end of the 5989th year From Creation (the Spring of 1985) the Holy Ark may be once again dwelling amongst man. But "Pharaoh" had other plans (Isaiah 14:17). (This was an early step in the learning process.).
7. Unexpected Financing: A significant factor to George and Dana is that sudden, unexpected financing came to them while camping in the Ocala National Forest, Florida, USA. Before then it would have been impossible for them to make their trip to Hebron. At the time they were working on their Biblical research and wondering how it would be possible for events to materialize. Then the LORD sent an independently wealthy journalist associated with an international publishing firm who suddenly became interested and arranged to provide financing for their trip. Thus, the LORD works in strange and unexpected ways.
8. Supernatural Experience: Most notably, early on 12 June 1978 a rather extraordinary experience occurred wherein George received unusual revelations that explained and outlined certain events. And subsequently these "events" have been coming to pass. Again, the LORD works in very unexpected ways.
9. History And Legends Of Kob Al-Janib: The history and legends of Kob Al-Janib refer to an "angel" and to a "descendant of David", "a great king", being buried on the mount. The legends reveal that Al-Janib, apparently a descendant of Abraham, once dwelt upon the mount. Stories abound of mysterious voices, unexplained happenings, etc. to people who have dwelt on or about the mount. These stories, legends, and history are indeed too coincidental to be happenstance especially when it is now concluded that the Holy Ark of the Covenant has been residing within Hebron for 2490 years. And the Scriptures cite that the LORD guards these sites with His Angels.
10. Hidden Passageways: Evidence of passageways within Kob Al-Janib were pointed out as young men identified where openings, now sealed once existed. They cited that in earlier years they used to drop small stones in a hole and listen to them tumble down, down, and down.
11. Archaeological Findings: As previously stated, Professor Philip C. Hammond's investigations on nearby mount Rumeide during the 1964-1966 period attest that Jebel er-Rumeide has been occupied since the days of Adam excepting periods following The Flood and during both the Egyptian and Babylonian captivities. Thus, Professor Hammond's work further substantiates that Kob Al-Janib was "in the sight of the men of the Jews" in the days when Jeremiah first hid the Holy Ark just as the Holy Ark is now plainly "in the sight of the people of the Jews" now living in Qiryat Arba today.
George then went on to elaborate upon the mount of Kob Al-Janib, the majestic mount which overlooks all of Southern Hebron.
Kob Al-Janib, as Hebronites all know, is the mount located to the West of the Mosque of Abraham. Kob Al-Janib can be clearly seen from most of Southern Hebron and is especially well visible from Qiryat Arba on the mount to the East of Hebron.
Kob Al-Janib today is readily distinguished by the cliffs of the Takrouri Quarry wherein lie the remains of an ancient brickklin which may well be the successor of an earlier brickklin of Jeremiah's days.
The Holy Ark of the Covenant, itself along with the other Holy Things stored therewith, should be within a sealed cave intentionally hidden from man; yet, as promised, it is plainly "in the sight of the men of the Jews", it is in the clay or earth of the brickklin, it is in the entry to Jerusalem, and it is in a "spur" on the shoulder (mount). A remarkable geometric pattern also now leads searchers directly to Kob Al-Janib. And Kob Al-Janib, to the North of the Takrouri Quarry, is very visible to those dwelling on Jebel er-Rumeide which is the next mount immediately to the North of Kob Al-Janib.
Therefore, would not Hebron be a Holy City of GOD if it were chosen by GOD to be the resting place for His Holy Ark over the past 2490 years?
Scripture Describes Kob Al-Janib
"The Hill of GOD" is a "high hill", "white" as it is composed of soft white limestone, and has been protected by "thousands of angels", as "the LORD (His Holy Ark) is among them".
"When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
"The hill of GOD is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
"Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which GOD desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell for ever.
"The chariots of GOD are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the LORD is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place."

And it was "Jacob" who "rolled the stone from the well's mouth" (Genesis 29:10). And "Jacob" is a name given unto the Shepherd to lead the gathering (Isaiah 49:5-6).
